In an effort to help them understand the genre of Wisdom Literature. I asked them in their groups to discuss:
- What is the most useful advice you got before coming to college?
- What is the most useless advice you got before coming to college?
- What is the funniest advice you got?
I then asked them in their groups to tweet out at least ONE tweetable bit of advice for the next semesters students for how to succeed in my Old Testament class (using the class hashtag).
